I remember two different periods of my life whenever I am reminded of Princess Di. The first was when she first came into our collective life, the day she married ? (gosh, the name escapes me, bro. i can remember Camilla but not the Prince's name!). The world, including Malaysia (and Muar, where I was then), fell in love at first sight with Princess Di. What year was it, 1981?

And then the accident that brought her life to a tragic end. 1997 was a bizarre year. Thanks for jolting this mind, bro.

Hi Rocky, you mean Charles ? I presume. I remember the evening she met with the crash in Paris. We thought it was a simple car accident, slightly injured or something, then the news came through a visibly shaken BBC reporter , "Princess Diana has died".. Just couldn't believe it.

It has been 11 years since she has gone but still she is deeply missed! She was really a wonderful woman:)

Steven..nice comment on Rocky's..maybe we should give you the APs...or let you run Protong.

Diana was a wonderful woman. All she was looking for was love, protection, loyalty, understanding. Just like all of us other women. She connected with all of us. (wish I had a wardrobe and bank account like hers too, though)...I was shocked the day she died...people like her seem larger than life, and we all forget how we are all but mere mortals...waiting to face Him.

I feel for her sons. She was definitely a good mother.

I forgot one thing. Acceptance. She want that most of all from that CREEP CHARLES! HE COULDN'T EVEN GIVE HER THAT!

JERK.

Ok, will stop at that since i'm fasting.

Steven, I have so many pictures of the flowers at Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace. I remember that day so well. I was on the way to cover the Merdeka Celebration when I heard the sad news. I went to Buckingham Palace with my camera crew and already there were lots of flowers at the gates. I went to the park - there must have been thousands of people, but there was silence.
So many people were affected by her death. So tragic.
I visited the memorial in Paris too and left my mark there.
and i remember too the journey we made to the Malaysian Carnival, just a day after her burial. The road was strewn with flowers.
