The Big and The Bold ! : The Notting Hill Carnival 2009

PART 2 : ADULTS DAY, NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL 2009

My feet are sore and my ears are ringing. After walking the entire 2 and a half mile parade route backwards at the Adults Day of the Notting Hill Carnival and seeing the many floats and costume dance troupes, samba bands etc, I have never before seen SO many woman with big rear assets in one square mile, and I don't think I ever will, at least until next year. 'Big' is definitely the order of the day. This was a fantastic NHC, although the crowds weren't as large as previous years, it was still loud and colourful.

Steven,
It seemed almost everybody have their energy drink in their hands. You won't feel tired when you are in a state of stupor like they all were. So the next time you cover such an event, get yourself energized the same way, maybe we will be able to see some really funny photos.
The last illustrationis cute. I guess you have more of such but keeping them to yourself hehehehe.

Hi Pak Zawi, thanks for your visit I left the best to last, haha. I try to attend the Carnival yearly if I'm around. Always fun to go if the weather is warm. This year the numbers exceeded 700,000.

next time, jump onto the other side of the fence! ditch the camera, find some feathers and join in the celebration! it is one experience to be on this side of the lens. it is a whole 'nother when you are on the other side :)

Hi Steven,

I wonder if we all get to see the rest of the photos? Funny how I have music playing in my head while browsing through these. It must have been fun for you to be there. Envy.
